Just finished watching The Lion King Musical at Marina Bay Sands Theatre.. The experience was PRICELESS. Purchased the cat 4 tix at a 8% discount coz i'm working in OCBC hah.. watched with Ruth, Zac and Nat...

Hated the marina bay sands carpark! its so jammed up and we were stuck there till we missed the s starting of the show.. oh wellz, luckily you tube has the starting haha~

When we reach, its showing the part where Simba and Nala were playing ("Just can't wait to be King" that song hah), before going to Scar's den...The story and the script were almost exactly the same! Esp the script! its like word for word, exactly the same as the cartoon! omg...It all brings back so many childhood memories.. One of my favourite disney movie... ^_^

The scene settings, back drop, singers, crew, the instrumentalist, conductor, omg, they were all so amazing!!! It's all worth the money, seriously, i would be willing to be $200 to go for it... I already had high expectations for this musical, since its so popular and so many people told me that its good. And after watching it, i'm still touched and amazed, as it had highly exceeded my expectation... I was so close to tears during some parts of the show... Partly coz of some of the scenes, but a lot due to being touched by the hardwork and effort put in by each and every performers....The voices are heavenly.. Each and every single one of them. I bet anyone of them can bet and win American Idol... Their voices are so STRONG and POWERFUL!

Maybe coz of being in 6 years of choir, I can understand how hard and difficult it can be, how many practice sessions needed to bring such a musical to such a high standard... Just feel so touched that its so successful...

The audiences gave them a standing ovation... I feel so proud for them!!! Standing and clapping for them also reminds me of the standing ovation we got when we performed in Xiamen... its really a very unique feeling when u see audiences standing up and clapping for u. its like the sweat and tears you put in is worth it. I bet the lion king crew think so too... And they really did a great job.

If any of u reading this have yet to watch The Lion King Musical in Singapore, do watch it. I promise you. It is priceless and worth every cents of your money and every moment of your life. But pls don't drive and park there HAHA.

just feel like moving to a new blog. Its like this blog is damn dead for monthsssssss~ coz i'm damn busy.. Now that its over, shall blog some interesting stuff since Jan 2011 hahah

Hmm.. so yar, i was rather busy when sch started all the way till it ended. Coz I took up my final year project this semester (thou i'm just yr 3, and 1 more yr b4 i graduate). But its like a trend to do FYP during year 3 , so yeap, ventured into it. The learning curve is the steepest that i've encountered, but i did learn a lot on build a flash game. haha. In the end, did up a farmville like flash game for our client.

This semester was horror. The mods i took were killer mods and I really pray hard that my results will not be too bad. Haiz.

Anywayz, had an extremely interesting Chinese new yr outing this yr. Went out with the OB gang (very singer ppz) first to Zac's hse to bai4 nian2 and then... to Holland Village during Midnite! What's more interesting was that we met up with the OB crew! Junyang, JJ and By2! ^_^
Had quite a lot of fun playing games with them, and I must really say that By2 looks a lot more prettier in person, and i really prefer them with little make up :)
The game we played were fun. Didn't take pix wif them, coz first i didn't bring my camera, but more imptantly, dun think they want us to treat them as "stars" haha. really had a lot of fun then :)

And then, for my B-dae, dar brought me to this mexican restaurant at Dempsey, called La Salsa :) love the ice cream they serve! its nice . Dar bought me a wallet which is much needed, as my "ex-wallet" 's seriously too big for my liking haha...

and my brother got married .haha. yeap :p let me seeeee. what's more hur.. Oh, a few meet ups here and there wif my JC clique, and oso sent Jiening off to Jap~~~~ boohoo~ 157 ppz are flying offffff~

btw, i'm apply to Xiamen for exchange wif dar, so yeap, hopefully both of us can get it!

and nothing much to update for now. Juz that i gotta my internship at OCBC which starts next monday. Yeap. till then :)

Just came out from the the 19th stage of hell...

finally some fresh air to relax for A WHILE.
last weekend, it was AA (an SIS module) madness.... stayed over on last sunday to rush out our codes and set up the servers to present on the next day...This AA presentation.... i think its the most demoralising presentation i had... I was already very gruchy due to the lack of sleep, and when the prof start shooting and "mocking", i was super pissed and i actually held back some tears... Its like we put in SOOOO MUCH TIME and EFFORT, yet it wasn't paid off coz things juz aren't working...

After that, my team venture into our EWS (2nd SIS module) which was due just the recent tuesday.... Its like no breaks in between due to the lack of time... During this period, i oso gotta prepare for my marketing 101 presentation which happens to be on the same day....We code and code and code, and on the recent monday, i stayed till 3 plus 4am in sch, after which dar drove me home (he was studying in SMU while i was coding with my team) and slept frm like erm 6am plus and then go to sch at like 10 am plus.... Went back to sch, con't coding (our deadline was on tue 330pm), chionged out for presentation at 2 plus , came back, and rush coding again... This happens all the way till 7 plus pm when we present..

thats not the end. After this EWS presentation, I have to go back and rush out a report which is due on wed (today) at 830AM. wow. great. soooo... i rush my report all the way till 6am plus in the morning... took a nap, wanting to wake up by 730am but overslept and woke up only at 830am... RUSHED for lessons and submitted my reports...

Yea, and so i have not really slept for consecutively 2 days? tts SMU for u manz. ok, should say SIS SMU, coz i believe the other sch's won't reach this extremely.
This is YR3 Sem 1 for me.... omg. wad abt the following 3 Sems... OMG....

gastric yucks.

yea~ tts my medicine gotta frm A&E due to my toopid gastric. i think its the worst gastric in my life. never experience such pain before. on a scale of 10, the pain level to me is like 8 or 9.

The gastric struck me yesterday, right after i had my lunch. yes, its not due to me skipping meals or wad. i ate a proper lunch: noodles, dumplings corn.

and then, the gastric started coming. at first it was quite mild.. but when i was on my way to school, it started getting strong... So, I rush to the doc in SMU right after i taken my quiz (during the break of my lesson)... gotten a jab and got some medicine from the doc... The gastric start to die down, and i thought it would be ok sooooon, so i went for my aunt's bdae dinner wif dar and ate dinner as usual, including an ice cream coffee cake...

and then..

i think the dinner made it much worst... the pain go from bearable to superb unbearable... dar drove me to Alexandra hospital A&E at 230AM, and I though i would get cured like immediately, coz its A&E. but i was wrong. superb pissed, esp when i'm in great pain. First, i gotta wait in front of a room where i was to have my blood pressure and stuff taken.. then gotta wait for the doc... the doc ask me wad happen, told him abt it, and I told him actually i always got gastric pain, juz tt this time, it wasn't able to cease even after the jab i got in the afternoon... So he suggest blood test, urine test and xray to be done. i say ok ok, then he start taking out stuff to take my blood. i was like. shit. the doc looks young, so he has little experience. i'm like shaking literally, coz it reminds me the time when i was quite young, a doc taking my blood for damn long coz he can't find my vessels on my arm. And i was right. this stupid doc oso can't find my vessels. and when he wanna try it on the back of my hands, i suggest to him to give me the gastric jab first! to cease my pain mah! he rubbish lo, keep saying wanna take blood first. was too weak to argue wif him, so i let him take. omg. its pain de lo! to have blood being taken frm the back of my hand!

after tt, he told me to go to wait in front of the xray rm to have my xray. i was like WTH, GIVE ME MY JAB! I"M IN PAIN! Dar oso damn angry, and he firmly ask the doc to give me the jab first. then the doc was like, ok ok, go in front of rm 11. u will have the jab. I was like YESH.

after waiting for some time in front of rm 11, rm 10 called me in instead. and it ws the xray room. WTH WTH WTH. sooooo, i had my xray, and later after tt, they ask me to have the urine test. ROARRRRR.

so, in the end, itwas only till 4 plus AM then i have my jab. OMG. wads this?! I tot u are suppose to CURE the patient first?! i'm in GREAT GREAT PAIN u noe! and u are putting the jab last? OMG. not goin back to tt hospital again. crazy.

yea, and then dar drove me home and i reached home ard 6am. omg. felt better now... but still got a bit of gastric everytime when i eat. sigh. hate gastric! but i do have lotsa medicine now, if another gastric attack occurs. haha.

didn't noe this blog was dead for abt a month le hahah~ sch was busy, projects and deadlines on the way. but this is the best time table till now of my uni life. tue-thurs , 3 day week. tues 12 to 645pm lessons, wed 830am-12pm,330pm-645pm lessons and thurs 330-645pm lessons.
thou it starts becoming a 4 to 5 day week as projects and FYP meetings come along the way.

had a heart to heart talk wif dar today. I believe relationships are really hard to maintain, esp when we are more 'open' and show our true self more to one another. but its a good heart to heart talk, and i would want this to last :)

but DEC, if everything plan well, i will be goin HK (sch biz missioN), Korea(wif mom) and Japan (wif dar and VS friends).
$$$$$$$ will be a big problem for japan. FAINTZ.

HELL. HERE I COME. gotta get more A grades this sem to pull up my GPA b4 it stabalizes in YR4!

I'm back in SG... arghx...i always hate the feeling of being back...its like I have 2 homes! 1 in SG, 1 @ HK. So i'm like HK home sick? haha~ and HK is fun to the max! esp wif all my relatives as well as dar~ :)

So the trip start off wif us taking Tiger Airways on 1st aug, 650AM. We had a clear sky, superb good view on the plane towards touch down... if only we can see this everyday...

EXCITED!!!!!
YY and aunt ketty came to welcome us upon arrival :) And we headed to our hotel, Dorsett Far East hotel. Thanks to mom contacting her friend, we manage to get a superb good view rm @ 500 HKD per nite, stayin on the highest floor with a superb nite view. :) 17th floor, room 1704 :)

After that , was brought to a 茶餐厅 for lunch!!! OMG. damn FREAKING NICE FOOD.

Then, visited my.... 姑婆。。。 (grandpa's sis)... She got cancer =( She went for surgery to cut part of her 胃 off (where the cancer is located)... but it spreaded, coz the operation was done too late... its sad to know someone is leaving the world, but i really hope and pray that she will leave w/o pain. and have a smile on her face...
Then, we went to walk ard a bit... And i saw yanz doremon!!! there's this superb big doremon "exhibition" going on!!! and there's this ting where u gotta spend abv a certain amt, show them the receipt, then they will let u enter... inside, there's all sortta doremon stuff, like doremon's rm or smth... I can imagine how Yan'z will go gaga if she's here!!!
HK has nice view... even on the bus haha

and then, b4 dinner wif my relatives, went to cut hair wif dar... Both of us cut. And i had a MAJOR change once again... I told my hair stylist that he's the only one who i trust and give my head to make big changes to it. haha... the first one is frm centre parting to the superb nice fringe style... and now.. tis...

TADA!!! SHOCKED? yesh. all my hair's GONE. haha!

My hairstylist really prepare me for tis. he explain the whole thing to me, why i can't have it like a bit abv shoulder length... analysed my hair, my head bone.. EVERYTHING HAHA. then i juz say: I TRUST U! hahahaha!
then he hold my bunch of hair. SNIP. OFFFFFFF my LONG HAIR. He said coz last time, there this customer like me... want to cut short. and when he's cutting half way, she stopped him, and say she wanna keep her long hair. so , its like her "inner hair's " short, and the outer layer is long. So from then on, he dun care. He just snip it off once we make up our mind and give him the green light to go. HAHA.

Dar cut his hair too! more of trimming and styling ba...

He say my hair stylist(his name is Mainji) got the charisma, aka likability factor. Which i certainly agree. And i really thing Mainji has the HEART to cutting ur hair. He dun juz cut wad u tell him to. He will analyse it and see whether it suit u. love him. Will always give my head to him to do major changes to and not regret!!!

After dinner, back to hotel. and we saw this view. We went WOW. NICE

The next day, woke up quite early to yum cha with my grandparents at 10AM. Dar woke up to come along too! xie xie ni!!!! I'm always super touched when dar wakes up early to do stuff wif me, coz he's someone who super duper needs sleep... so i'm really touched when he wakes up for this. :) thanks dear.
Then, brought dar to see the chinese doc whom i always visit when i go to HK. @no name gang: yeaps! the one i brought u all to! and our grp pic with the chinese doc is still at her desk!! :)
Went to eat sushi at Town centre. aweee~ i love the sushi there!

Day 3, we went to eat again at the same 茶餐厅。。。Dar ordered his Favourite bo luo bao. And he gives a thumbs up to it. I loved it too!!!! the best bo luo i've tasted!!!

After that, we checked out and make our way to 炮台山， where our hostel is. Its called YESINN. After unpacking, we went to IKEA as well as times square.

Saw this in Times sq... Love this art work on display... very unique and special...

Went to eat dessert at Jordon. NICE! Chose the sesame one as well as a Horlicks one. The sesame one's tastier :)
This is what we usu do. buy water and food in supermarket for supper! whee!!! either that, or go to the 7 eleven beside our hostel.. :)

Actually, long story for this hostel.. haha.. my 1st nite was bad. i was so stress till i cried.
1st nite at yesinn, we were told to go to another building, as they had 2 locations... I think that other building is the older Yesinn... the place looks run down, our room doesn't look good... not even interested to take a pic of it. tts how bad it was... b4 leaving to shop, we killed a baby cockroach. At nite when we're back, we killed like 3 to 4 small ones found on our bed, and 1 on the floor.
I really couldn't sleep well that nite, and dar tried to call the 24 hrs reception area, no one pick up. So we really gotta sleep there for the nite. Its bad. really bad when thats really my weak spot. so i was so stress that i cried. haha... Dar hugged me to sleep that nite, but i'm still superb stress up. hah~ luckily, when we requested to change a room, Yesinn willingly change for us. and the room is in the new building, so yeaps. Its nice, clean and likable.
But i will still stay in a hotel in the future. HAHA.

Shopped at mong kok 新之城。 found this on the top floor i think. damn good.
at nite, we went to 尖沙嘴。watched the "light" show at 8pm. it was juz "so so" haha
but i still love the view to the max.

after that, visited the new mall called I SQUARE. and ate SUSHI again. This time, i feel like heaven eating sushi there... the taste is heavenly.

u see that EGG SUSHI?! 2 piece is juz HKD 10 bucks!!! its SGD(10/5.7) bucks. CHEAP RITE?! OMG. and its piping hot and nice. ahhhhh~~~

Went Macau and zhu hai on our last 2nd day.. Was laughin like mad when i saw this...
种类! so we indicate ALIEN? HUMAN? we come in peace? HAHAH!!! loL!!!
Got these super big lucky draw card shaped cards on board the ship... for casino purpose haha.. waow... love the card! hah, but its useless to us as we dun intend to gamble HAHA

shopped the whole after noon there, and went to this 海鲜街 at nite for dinner...
the prawns were really good ...

Then, rushed to this casino called Venetian... It looks extremely attractive... and its always clear blue sky there... Imagine walking on an outdoor street, with clear blue sky, but its air conditioned HAHA. i think the casino boss dun want their guest to know whether its day or nite in the casino. Just want u to con't gambling... Dar say he read/heard some where that the casino's air is Oxygenated... so u won't feel sleepy when ur there... SCARY way of making u gamble all day long!

took a 1030pm jet back to HK. ate dar's first, as well as my first haggen dazzzz ice cream!!!

Last day went back to 尖沙嘴。。。dar wanna see the day view of the harbour...
And when we're there, we say this photographer taking pic of someone using a building as backgrd... so we tried... and had this effect...

@ airport.... Grandparents, yy and her mama came... miss them alot...
ahhhh~ my "sister" as well as "wife"!!! we are SOOOO CLOSE.... always missing her. Wishing her all the best in her new sch... U will be fine. :) stay optimistic!!
Grandma is forever adorable. Love her. can i keep her for life time plz? :)
grandpa.. he's really really getting old. I really hope he stay healthy as always. grandma as well. I'm really close to my grandparents... Hope that i can earn my first pot of gold and treat them as well as my parents to a nice meal, a nice trip and let all of them enjoy their life. :)

1st anniversary celebration

celebrated our 1st anniversary today at a super duper far place... RIDERS CAFE (thanks to Zac's blog recommandation :) ). Its at bukit timah, near turf city :)
started off "badly" wif a super duper heavy traffic jam at bukit timah ave 6, due to road closure caused by accident. its a very very heavy jam. and when i check out the news at nite, its really quite a serious accident haha... a big crane (u noe those huge truck wif crane) somehow never put that long big crane back properly and it hit a super old bridge, the bridge sortta cracked...
so die die must close the road to prevent the bridge frm dropping at any time and squash any cars below it! haha! the news say it jammed for 6 hr. crazy. We were 1/2 an hr late for our lunch, reached at 4pm..
Here we are at riders cafe... sad to say that their lunch menu are only available till 3pm... so we end up eating TEA. nothing much to eat! argh.

The strawberry milkshake. Its a bit too sweet for my liking haha. By dar find it not bad hehe.

OMG. I love their capucinnoo... made frm some australian coffee beans. the "biscuit" is super nice too!

I ordered scone, the only "vegetarian" dish in their Tea menu...

Dar's chicken. LOOKS SUPER TASTY. but he say its ok only.

A nice tea time meal at a super nice place with superb ambience and HORSES TO SEE!

rest for a while, and felt asleep HAH. when i woke up, i was like, hmm, i have a urge to eat chao kwey teo, so i was saying it to dar, but its 9 plus then, and i really jsut say say only, not really expecting to eat since his home got cook haha... then dar went to bathe, and i was thinkin why he bathe for so long... and then he came in wif this...

OMGGGG~ he ran down to buy the last plate of chao kway teo!!! so touched la! oMG. the aunty was tellin him after him no more chao kwayteo, maybe closing i tink? and he fried that super nice sun shine egg!!!! oMGGGGGGGG
relaly super happi! wheeee~ hehe~ i think i never eat this dish for yrs le? haha, coz i always THOUGHT of eating it but never REALLY eat coz its damn fattenin HAHA!
shared it wif his mama, coz i dun want all these calories to go down my stomach and i have his home food to eat after tat oso haha~

yupz, a day well spent wif dar, who always makes me happy even by just being by his side. Happy anniversary ones more! :)

workplace politics..

Symantec is a good company. I would say i love the ppl here, working environment and stuff... I'm not the one being involved in the "politics" but seeing the only intern here getting terminated makes me sad for her, and mad abt it the whole case... I just can't believe what happened and sitting behind her and being the witness of all those times when her boss approach her and how her boss doubts her, scold her everytime makes me feel super 不值得 for her..

at my work place now, feeling super emo-ish as today is her last day and she had left... She's a superb good companion as she sit in front of me and I really feel less sian with her around during work.. but now, knowing that I'm alone till end of july sucks. sigh.

PIXAR Exhibition

i'm seriously gettin too lazy to blog... anywayz, the recent sunday, went wif dar to SCIENCE CENTRE... yupz , to see the PIXAR exhibition! haha! Got to know this when Heemz showed me where her company is located, where i spotted the advertisement by the side of the webbie... I was like. OMG. when didn't they did a huge advertising on this?! very few ppz knew abt it :(
It cost 20 bucks per person for the PIXAR exhibition itself, 21 bucks which includes tix to enter sci centre, and 24 bucks which includes sci centre as well as a 3D movie screening of Toys Story 1 in May / toys story 2 in June...

opted for the 21 bucks one... since the movie is really juz the same old movie wif 3D effect which we are not really interested to pay for HAHA.
WOODY!!! pixar! pixar rox!

Hah~ Dar watch most of the Pixar movies too!! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!

yupz, the exhibition is @ THE ANNEXE , not inside sci centre, so tts why u can juz choose to enter tis and not sci centre haha~ Not much ppz in the exhibition thou, since kids won't appreciate it as most are behind the scenes stuff, such as story board, drawings, how characters come abt... all the details, hard work and sweat behind these successful movies :D
The entrance! We can't take pictures inside... juz like the Harry Potter Exhibition pee went... sigh~
Dar was lucky! we saw this right beside the entrance, i told dar to go take, since he love ratatuille, then when i wanted him to take for me, a staff came and say we can't take pix coz this picture is to be taken by their "professional photographer" for us... in other words, those tt we must pay to get the picture... sianz... lucky boy hur... I love this pic, super got feel!

Enjoyed the exhibition to the max, and its really worth the $.... The next time i watch a Pixar movie, which will be in a week plus time(Toy Story 3!), I will appreciate the movie A LOT MORE! so much work and effort put in to make all these! and I saw the mold of Wall-e.. OH MAN. How i wish its alive...
AND YES.
Woody, Buzz lightyear, and the Aliens! they came to live in this Toy Story Zeotrope! Manage to find someone tt recorded it on youtube... ENJOY! Love it. We were there watching it for quite a few times! were superb amazed... I was really waving to the cute little aliens and feel that they are really ALIVE!

working @ symantec as a channel sales intern now. yesh. haha~ not IT, not IS. channel sales. I applied thru IDA and not through my sch's portal, which will be safer, since they will indicate whether it qualify as a SIS internship or not.
The people at symantec are nice. :) I have a friendly and nice team, a nice pantry with a superb view, and i love the open office working environment here. However, the fact that it is confirmed as not a SIS internship troubles me almost everyday, and i'm always bugging my new friend Sammi, who's an intern too @ symantec, asking her for advise hahaha~
oh wellz, at some time, i will be like, aiya, nevermind la, just finish it and do a SIS internship next summer lor.. but most of the time, i will be grieving over this as it is rather a pity that i didn't take an SIS internship since most of my friends in IS are taking one... haiz...
It's mostly my fault, coz its me who accepted the internship. Well, I was too excited that i got an internship that i accepted it without considering whether it meets the SIS requirements and with the good internship allowance, well, it attracted me and make me say yes. Also, i receive the call on a bus, when i was sleeping, so i was quite blur when i answer the call, asking me whether i wanna accept the internship.
sigh. the good thing is this internship can expose me to many ppz, as it requires calling mostly, and more imptantly, make me realise that , after all, i'm not a sales/marketing person! haha~
Before this, i always tot that i'm a people person, and i would love to meet clients and talk and talk on the phone...
but after this, I really came to a conclusion, together with my pass job experiences, that I'm not meant for these kinda job. Wellz, I think i'm more and more IT now! I think will get a gaming firm to take me in as an intern next summer. probably try HK since dar is trying to get a HK internship next summer too haha... if CMI, then iwill send my resume to ALL the game companies and animation companies in SG hahahaha~ i think i will be programing games or designin a webbie hahaha!

On mother's day (sunday 9 may), went to ice skate wif dar before goin for mothers day dinner hehe~ super duper long never skate in SG!and this is my FIRST time skating @ kallang leisure park! haha! (last time went to the jurong one haha)

oh manz, i wanna watch toys story 3!!!! but it will only be out in june~ boohoo~~~ woody!!!!!! so cute! ^_^

had our full 157 strength on monday! woots! 157 gathering heh~ only tt tis time is @ vivo and not pee's hse... went to try out the Honeymoon dessert there... apparently, its my favourite dessert shop i went in HK and when it appears in Vivocity, i'm super desperate to try it out!! Noticed this shop even before it opens, and i recently know that its already opened, so suggest to 157 to come and have a try at it!
wellz, the dessert is quite nice, and to me, the price is ard the same as HK. onli thing is tt SOME of their desserts' size have shrunk as compared to the HK one..

Pee mentioned abt wanting to try to go perm her hair... then we were like, but u will look MORE mature. SUPER overly mature.. and as we walk ard vivo, tada! there's a shop which give u trials to perm ur hair wif their hair curler... look @ peeee! HA! much more mature rite! i prefer ur long straight hair!! (u can juz buy a hair curler and curl it whenever u want it to be curled :p )
After dessert, pee said she's still hungry, so i forget who, i tink Shuyi? suggested the new yogurt place at Basement 1.. and its NICE. $4.50 for a rather big cup of yogurt, in which u can even mix the flavours, and after which, u do ur own toppings ! yupz! and there's quite a huge variety of toppings available !!! ^_^ (buy 5 get 1 free!)

MUJI rox... their pens are nice to hold, nice colours, and the ink can be used for rather a long time :)
highlight, wellz, nice simple unique design, but the highlighter ink can be used up rather quick... planning to buy the refillable version next time heh...

ok, out of the 5 ppz who i noe got in, only miao ru went thru to the finals, which i was like wth... ok, here's miao ru wif her superb power song...

then, zac didn't get in! wth~ and the judge's comment was something like he chose a easy song as compared to other. hey, u as judge say this is an easy song? its so hard to sing it well like him! i was wondering whether he got hearing problem... listen and judge 4 urself..

well, how was it? if he didn't deserve to go in, i wonder how some other contestant manage to get in... They didn't upload the vid for the contestant which most of us think she doesn't deserve getting in... if it happens to be uploaded later, i will sure post it to let u all judge how bias this is....

the judges are all frm focus music, so yupz, for those who wanna music, think twice b4 goin to that sch... roar. i was so pissed off tt day... but oh wellz, those who didn't get in no need to grieve too much oso since the judges taste is so bad and comments are rather useless =.= they say zac's song too easy, go try sing it and u will noe! then they say dar chose a song which is too hard. so wad they want? moderate ah? Then, another friend, nicholas, the judge say dun like his hand gestures... =.= but he sang super well! and hand gestures, wow, if tts the factor that deter him frm getting into finals, u judges, suck big time. chris is pissed.

haiz. i'm really juz to tired of the chase of dream ba. i think? hah. or maybe coz i've been passing quite a few auditions and suddenly not used to getting thru one? i oso dunno haha. juz feel veri emo-ish and sian-ed by the results of the auditions. Wellz, i used the song i'm confident in, juz tt i'm too busy(oh wellz, tt can be an excuse?) to practice it. Maybe was too confident wif tt song which leads to the downfall haha... i oso dunno :p

dunno how many yrs i've been goin thru all these liaoz, juz tt last yr was a 大丰收，and rather smooth sailing.... And a terrible storm came to crash my smooth sailing ship?haha... oh wellz, i think the emo-ish feeling will go away veri soon ba :) i tink its also due to sch work and stress baaa hahaha~ coding now, but i juz wanna vent out all these... oh wellz... i'm now still in the midst of writing my full script for my thurs Singlish presentation... will be doing on the thesis of :"encouraging Singlish as a culture in Singapore" , with me being someone frm the SG tourism board, and audience being the SG govt. Yesh, its a 7min long individual presentation, 20% of the total final grade. bleahx... if i can do it well with all the humors i intend to add in, i think it can be quite well done.. but oh wellz, i need to put in a lot a lot of hard work to achieve tt. fingers crossed!

anywayz, i just earned some quick cash frm singing 1 single song for smu's open hse haha...tired performing 雨爱 , oh wellz, considering its a new song, i give myself 70% out of 100%. shall do a small bit of reflection after lookin at my recording...

shall really remove that unintentional swaying of my body... i really didn't realise it till i watch the vid. shuts. Also, i should stop holding the mic at times with 2 hands.. it doesn't look good.

as for singing the song:
i think i should sing back the original key... somehow, i sounded too manly/ not rou2 enough for the song... must have more practice!
memorize the lyrics WELL. (haha, for those who noe the song well, i made thousands of mistake)

i intend to sing this song if i happen to join any competition for the 2nd rd. (for auditions, 天黑黑 is always my default song haha!)
so must must die die improve on it! a good song to practice and showcase :) but lotsa drilling must be done to make it perfect! ^_^ jia you!

finally, all 3 mid terms are over. phew~ wellz, this qn is for sofa... its the 1st qn in my ethics midterm haha:
jason went to a hotel, grab a can of $5 pepsi frm hotel fridge, and drink it. later in the day, he went to the nearest 7-11 to buy a $2 pepsi and put it back into the hotel fridge... is it ethical?

hah... there's no right / wrong ans... but politically correct ans is unethical ba i think hoho...justified my way thru anywayz... dunno la.... 10%, so juz see luck ba...

as for the other 2 test, i not sure how i've done, but should be able to pass, only the part of "flyin colours" is unsure of haha...

and super duper paiseh to everyone! coz darlin and me were like 1 hr late?!!! omg. i really didn't know there's SO MANY PPZ waiting for me! omg.

when i walk in... i was like. back to talkin abt my performance... wellz, i feel that i did much better in rehearsal~ and tis is the first time i felt this way! i think really coz of the super enthusiastic crowd that REALLY boost up my confidence on stage. My heart beats more normally tis time, although for the first song the front part, its still beatin uncontrollably fast haha... but wellz, a pat on the back for myself to conquer tis to quite a large extent.
However, after watching the vid darling took for me, i tink my voice still gotta improve. and also i think i ran out of pitch for 1 line in my solo song. sianz. haiz. dunno how to become 柔一点...

omg. yar, tis sem is ok, coz thou there will be codin, but not the main ting for those mods. onli that there's a lot of projects to be done! omg. i'm down wif meetings everyday! except tues, coz i try not to have it since i have no lessons on tues.. but tmr, morning i have 1 meeting, afternoon must go sing to promote booth, then lesson....
then thurs ,morning i have meeting , then i have lesson @ 12, another meeting rite after lesson, then lesson @ 7pm to 1015 pm
then fri, i have lessons @ 830AM, then meeting again, then 330 vocal trainin till nite..
then juz got down a new meetin on sat. so Sat, i have vocal rehearsal in the mornin, then i run off for piano @ 1pm, then go back to sch again for rehearsal, then after tt, ard 5pm, i got a meetin.
omg. by typin all the abv out scares me and stress me out. can't imagine how i can split my time out even MORE. cui.

after all, i think that this sem's mods are all rather interesting. so i've been enjoying MOST lessons so far hehe... today's vocal training or rather, 验收， was quite strict and stressful... but its for our success on 3rd feb! so lets just jia you ba! ^_^ gotta make it a pt to sing and improve everyday :D SERIOUSLY, whoever readin tis blog, if u all free on 3rd feb , wed, 8pm, come buy tix frm me! $10! good music :D hehe~

nothin much to blog abt but juz an update on the new MEMBERS in my hse haha... for those who don't know yet, Winwin (my dog) passed away last dec... yar... too old le... long story, no pt talkin abt it.. but the ting is, not long after she passed away, a bunch of cats came.. yar.. the mother cat juz bring along her 5 kittens to our door step and stayed there... till now? hoho~super cute, but their claws are super sharp.. enjoy the pix :D

2009 Reflections --> ~2010~resolutions

yo~ today is my free day, so today shall do some proper reflections of 2009...
let me see... quite a lot of first times , quite a lot of new experiences... met a huge bunch of friends with the same dream / hobby...

first, manage to get into 第五届非常歌手。 got to know that being a singer is not that easy. And singers don't earn a lot till the harvest period. Learnt how to walk and sit properly, talk properly, sing properly. break the record of learning a dance and taking the "exam" on the 2nd lesson. Learnt how to play the piano and sing. gaining more stage experiences and increasing my confidence level on stage. Most importantly, get to know a lot of new friends who can sing really well, compose musics really well, dance really well and etc... Happily enjoying being in VS6, knowing our 班长。 i still remember how zi tian and i was discussing about having a rather 帅班长 after our first class.. HAHA. and me telling Heemz and gang tt he's 帅. hoho~ :p oh wellz, of coz, VS got quite a lot of 美女s and 帅哥s la hahaha~ ^_^

Oh yar, and of coz goin hunan and met a bunch of pure and cute kids :D

Then, its gor gor's graduation. congratz bro... ^_^
As for sch, its as busy as always, with 1 overnite day in sch for each semester in 2009... haha... as always... be with the strong bond of IS ppz, we stay strong and support one another haha.. WOOTS! ^_^

Overall, 2009 had been a yr full of ups and downs, but had been rather memorable~ i just wish that 2010 will be even better~

as for resolutions, i tot of a few, rather similar to 2009 hahaha
1. LOSS WEIGHT. haiz... must be more determined and take action! don't just sayyyy...
2. Keep on being positive in things.
3. Get at least 2 As for this semester. (i had always been juz gettin 1 / no As for the pass 3 sems :( )
4. SAVE MORE MONEY!!!! ahhhhh~ must go and find job...
5. Sing more, join more competitions to build up confidences! find more chances of performing ^^

2009 flew away too quickly! time really FLIES. welcome 2010. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! shall do a recollection aka reflection of my 2009 life soon tis week when i'm IN THE MOOD haha...quite a lot of stuff happened in 2009 for me hehe~ ^_^
this week, spent plenty of time wif darlin, knowing that its the last week i will be super free b4 school starts ... haiz... i'm prepared to chiong this sem. wanna pull my GPA all the way up! CHIONG AH! woots! gonna be super mugger ~ roarrrrr~
ahhhh~ but can't believe its 2010 le.. and i'm turning 21 soooon! omg. growing old... bleahx... time to earn some $$ thru tuitions. anyone here got intro? wanna teach sec 1 / 2 maths. pri sch maths oso ok. as long as good pay... goin bankrupt soon! and i must return all my debts b4 new year arrives! bleahx....
tmr first day of sch, kinda havin a dilemma feel.. wanna go back to sch, so tt i can start having the study mood and chiong... but oso dun wanna go back coz the stress lv will be back, the work load will be back, and the lack of sleep will definately be back... oh manz. haiz. but lets juz look forward to our long summer break shall we? hahaha

(i juz realise i saved tis post as draft, forgettin to publish it haha! so here goes, its blogged after i returned from my OCIP trip)

yoz ppz!

i'm back... had left off for my Overseas CIP (OCIP) trip to hunan on the 3rd of dec...on the 3rd of dec, the OCIP team and I left off via tiger airway early in the morning.. thankx dear for sending me off @ 4AM. xie xie... first time visiting budget terminal, first time leaving from budget terminal... oh wellz, tiger airway is almost the same as jetstar, but i still prefer jetstar afterall as jetstar's ride wasn't as bumpy and "exciting" as tiger... haha... reached guang zhou bai yun intl airport after 4 hrs of flight... the whole gang went off to had lunch @ the macdonald in the aiport... as for me, i saw nothing i can eat @ mac (dun wanna have fries) so i end up buying waffle @ a cafe nearby... their waffle takes super long to be cooked, and its called fruit waffle... i expected a wide variety of fruits and a nicely made waffle after lookin @ the outlook of the cafe and its price, but when i get it , it looks like this...

after tat , we took a bus to the scariest place...(as told to us by the china ppz in our team), guang zhou's train station... its really scary... i dun even dare to bring out my camera outside the train station to take a picture of the crowd... juz imagine the queuing process when u go for NDP. yesh, a super big crowd, full of ppz cutting queue. and ppz with faces tt looks like they are bad guys. :p

so i only used my mobile phone to take some pic after i entered the station. try to focus on the crowd right "inside the picture"...
apparantly while waiting, a female staff started using a loud hailer to shout something... everyone can't understand what in the world she's saying, in the end, a guy in our team said the staff is telling ppz that by paying RMB$10 per person, u can get onto the train FIRST. =.= although the train ticket we bought already gave us a designated bed to be at, we still decided to get onto the train first... since its juz RMB$10.... not to take the risk of getting lost in the big crowd, or being pushed onto the floor and stepped upon.... so yupz, up we board the train FIRST.

it was a LONG ride... ard 5 hrs... most of the time, i was sleeping... coz i'm too tired hahahaha... when we reached 耒(lei3)阳, it was night time....the principal of the school we are teaching in and the MOE ppz of that place were there to pick us up... was rather shocked, coz i didn't expect MOE ppz to turn up.
we were treated dinner @ a place nearby... the food here in china are SUPER DUPER oily... and the mantou were very very big! haha!
after dinner, we took a van to get into the village... 毛坪村... its a bumpy and cold ride... it take ard 2 hrs to reach there... and its really really dark when we reached... once we alight, the teachers were all there waiting to welcome us! and they 放鞭炮　and fireworks! omg... so 隆重。。。felt a bit 受不起。。。 after tat, mingled a bit with the teachers in the room and then went "home" to debrief and rest...

the 伟大 cook.... yupz.. guys are the cook, we gurls help to wash dishes... washing dishes are quite a painful process thou, the worst part for me in this trip... coz the water are really FREEZING cold... and there's a lot of dishes... so by the time u finishing washing, ur hands will be super red, and it hurts due to the super cold water....but we are doin tis together! ^_^

this is the pri 5 math teacher... he stayed quite near us... one day, when i was playing with the kids after sch, he invited me and my other friend to his hse to eat this local delicacy... it's made of 罗米 and some beer tingy... i dun like the taste but swallowed most of it... towards the end , i really couldn't take it and juz tell him i'm full haha... coz in the first place i dun drink beer and this is really yucky to me! but after i returned home and tell this to one of the china friend, she said its a super nice delicacy! :p
haha, the sch kids here love to invade our hse... as we dun lock it during the day since there's always someone home, they swarm in...their daily morning exercise routine hehe.. caught it on vid too! ^_^
the flowers the kids gave us... they always give us flowers! ^_^
we did 家访 too.. and the sharing session was meaningful... esp when we heard from the other ppz in our team to share abt their 家访 trip during our nightly debrief session... it makes u reflect how wrong u are to complain abt this and that when the ppz here are suffering so much...
we bought some kids for a field trip out of the village too... for most, its really their first time, and also might be last time :(
first, we visited the toyota car factory of our sponsor (haiz, politics stuff...) the kids were totally amazed... As for me, i'm shocked too.... can't believe a CEO can have such a big rm, wif a bedrm as well in his office!

one of my P5 kids told me "老师，我从来没有看过这样的东西！” something along this line... she's totally shocked by it... as for me, i juz think that the gap b/w the rich and the poor is really TOOOO WIDE in china...

also brought them to a high sch to interact with the students there...
this is my class... my kids haha! oh yar, the kids here love the camera... when they see a camera, they will 争先恐后to be right in front... haha!

oh yar! and present to u LU LU!!! hehe~ the puppy of one of the family in this village... the pups' mother were killed by a vehicle juz days ago... haiz... :(
We left, on the 13th... a sad departure. kids cried, we cried. i missed them dearly ever since i returned to SG. one of the person frm my team who returned back to her hometown in china received a call from the kids one day after we left, and the kid asked her : 老师，蔡老师的电话多少? awe... how i wish i'm in china to let them call me! they wouldn't have the $ to call SG. haiz. tts why i asked my friend if they call again, ask for their number, i will be the one callin them :D

then on the 13th, we took a 3 to 4 hr bus ride (oh, its horrible with the winter weather) down to 长沙 for a day. coz the president of this team is from there, and her mom one of the investors of this 5 star hotel, so we got the priviledge of staying in tt hotel for FREE. omg. she's power manz!

this is one of the streets in chang sha. its like sg clarke quay with lotsa pubs/bars.

and its called 太平街. a rather scary name with a scary appearance! when i took this pic, i didn't notice the STOP sign. only when i view it, i realise its near there for cars. but tis pic seems scary..

yupz, after tt, took a internal airline to 广州　in the morning on 14th dec with a sg guy from my OCIP team... stayed @ this 3 star hotel, had steam boat for dinner. yar, me and him stayed in one rm to save cost, but of coz different beds haha. coz only him and i are returnin back to sg on the 15th, so gotta stick together, and also good to have a "guy" ard, thou i would much prefer darlin to be there instead HAHAHA~ :p

so tts abt it for my trip. hehe~ a well planed OCIP trip, with me coming back appreciating a lot more of what i have, and being much more satisfied with my life. thou i juz hate the washing dishes part in the trip most, coz of the super cold water! bleahx. haha!

i'm one paper down! one more to go on the 30th of OCT! today's paper was ok la, juz tat there's too many diagrams to draw and not enough time for me to finish the paper... can pass but don't whether is it with flying colours or not lo....

B4 exam comes...

During exam break.... rested for some time... rechargin...

Then after recharging, started mugging a bit... sine both are open bk and case study... got slack a bit...
Now i'm left with my TWC paper... which is 2 case study... haiz... must do some research... for this paper, the confidence level is rather low, so must really read and understand those 2 cases from back to front! roar... hopefully can pass this paper .... awe....

After tat paper... i'll be FREEEEEE... woots!

but will be goin hunan on 3rd, so must pack too... anywayz, here to promote for SMU arts fest 2010 since i'll be singing for it :D

yesh. its finally OVER. O-V-E-R.
all the projects are done... woots.... now left wif 2 exams to tackle, in which both are open-book and case study based.... one being an IS mod, which i've almost finish reading the whole textbook due the the project for this module which requires the reading of the TB.... the other, is a module called Technology and World Change (TWC).... tat one, gotta read 2 companie's annual report, but prof already identified or hinted those pages we gotta read... and he sent us part of the 2 case study questions already.....
and the gap b/w the 2 papers is abt 1 week, so there's enuff time for me to mug... muggin @ the airport wif poor kang, coz he got 3 papers to tackle next week, and sooooo many readings... i'm like slackin? roar... feel so bad, but i'm so restless tat i can't study! even starin into space and tinkin of nothing is better than readin tat IS tb again after readin it for almost a mth due to the project...
oh wellz, 2 more weeks and its really over for this yr.... after tat it would be hunan (which i already dun feel like goin... got politic problems in the comittee wich i dislike... )
oh wellz, juz wanna get my OCIP done to fulfill tat 80 hrs and also experience an OVERSEA CIP ba... this one oso quite affordable...

sleep deprived...

ROAR~ when can i have a good nite sleep?! went to school everyday for this whole week.. YESH. Mon to sunday... worst then workin sia...

Wed, my coding team and i stayed over nite in sch.. and CODED. from ard 7 plus pm, all the way till 630 plus AM. YESH! AM! and we never even sleep! juz code code and code... see the sky turn from dark to partial dark to bright. omg... then i cab home, reached home @ 740plus AM, slept till 1045AM, then go sch again for our lesson @ 12pm, which we need to show our completed website... was worth it , coz most of our functions passed the testing...

this is madness mad... the following days i want to recall, but i forget most of it le... should be meetings ba... coz till now, i haven't got a single proper sleep... burning midnite oil again tonite to rush a chinese individual report due on thurs.. coz after today, i dun tink i have any time to write... juz feel like venting my complains to my blog.... gtg... sianz... tis sux.

in sch now, and just completed my PMSB interim submission.... this week is madness... first up, got PMSB mid term test, oh wellz, i don't even know how well i did, coz there's not really a standard ans... and wad's crazy abt it was that the MCQ, they have checkboxes for some qn, where there will be 1 ans. and if u tick 1 more or 1 less, it's consider WRONG. X_X

next up, chinese mid term test... yea, taking this mod called Intro to china history, law and culture.... have this open bk MCQ test, but have chunks to read.. so ... since the test is on fri, i burnt midnite oil on wed.... mug frm night till ard 3am... slept till ard 4 plus 5 am, wake up and continue... then went for lessons frm 12 to 330pm, and continue with the readings... its interesting ah, but juz too many to read in a few days.... but still manage to complete reading... the test, oh wellz, its 20 MCQ, the teacher changed last min and shorten it frm 50 mcq to 20mcq, phew, and i juz manage to finish 5 mins b4 time... so its the right choice manz... but i made this silly mistake wich caused me 4 marks! ROAR.

then, for projects, we have Software Engineering Heuristic Evaluation.... preparation was madness, with all the midterms tis week, and the carrying out part was tedious... have to compile stuff somemore... bleahx...you all can view the webbie we CODED frm scratch here... se.smu.edu.sg/G6-T4
its not DONE yet... juz partially... its looks easy, but there's huge chunks of codes behind it... HAHA.

so.. this week, 2 mid terms, 2 project interim deadlines.... madness....
but wellz, its over. FOR NOW. coz i'm having another "mid term" , more like 3/4 term, for my software engineering mod 2 weeks frm now, 1 chinese individual report, and 3 project final deadlines...gratz chris.

manage to get back some life with Kang ard, but i still need more life! I miss 157, i miss no name gang (my JC clique's new name... haha)... I miss my family life, i miss HK! aweeeeee~

hi everyone!

ok, update a bit on wad i did recently... firstly, CODING. MADNESS. roar. haiz.... had lotsa stuff to complain.... it drives me crazy. and also make me 气到nearly cried. haiz... thankx dear for listening to all my complains haha! :p still remember the recent friday i really code till wanna die liaoz... then kang in sch having vocal ma, so i juz went home first... then although he super tired after tat, ard 11 plus ba, he still came over to my hse and went wif me to nearby prata place for supper so i can juz "unleash" tat irritated feeling in me... juz keep tellin him all the problems i faced in codin... ah... after talkin abt all that, is like i manage to 'let out everything'... feel super good after tat.... ah~ he oso stressed out by sch la... bleahx, sch juz sux! KANG!!JIA YOU for ur bamboo!

then on recent thur, peeeeee left SG... she tot onli QY, SY and me goin, coz xiany called her up tat day to check out whether she already @ airport, tellin her she last min cannot make it to send pee off haha!

ok, gor juz keep sayin he wants PS3 since last yr.. and till tis yr, whenever ppz ask wad he want for bdae, he will say: PS3. then i will be like, no way. coz very de expensive ah! then yesterday, mom was saying to gor: u want $150 cash as bdae present? or vouchurs as bdae present?(she dun wanna say how much vouchur...) haha~ then today when i went sch for meetin, i was thinking: ' eh? if mom pay $150, dad pay $150, then his gf (wich i called up to ask) is also willing to fork out $150, then its quite a huge sum and can go buy ps3!'

so i called up uncle to ask him whether wanna share oso ,and he say he willing to fork out $200... wah~~~ ok, i feel guilty make him fork out 200 bucks when he had actually bought these super expensive headsets for my brother and his gf! gonna return him 50 bucks next time when i saw him....

anywayz, so i went to Far East Shopping Centre after meeting, together wif Kang dear, bought PS3 SLIM, extra controller, HDMI cable($10) and also 2 games(street fighter 4 and Metal gear 4) together cost are $600 plus , near $700 ~dear helped to carry the PS3 all the way to buffet @ novena sq la! ah~ xin1 ku3 le! quite heavy leh!

then i have a plan hehe.. coz in the morning, i smsed him saying: eh, seriously, wad u want for bdae? if u dun tell me, i really go buy PS3 game liaoz... '

then he really never replied me. soooooo~ my plan was to juz give him the 2 PS3 game we juz bought when he join us for the buffet. and he really tot tat was it. HAHA~he still say:" tat will be my motivation to save up $ and buy a PS3".

then we juz carry on the dinner, till when the bill comes.... then we sang bdae song to him, he still happily singing tat song wif us... and then i was like:" ur actual bdae present is hereeee" and out comes PS3 slim!!!!

yupz, after tat , mom asked wad was his reaction when he first juz received tat 2 games frm me... he say: he was super sianz by it, and dun even bother knowing wad games are they!

HAHAHAA! ah~ i juz like to give ppz surprises and see their BIG BIG SMILE on their faces ^_^ it makes me super happy! ^_^ When u make ppz happy, u will feel even happier ^_^ being able to make someone happy and full of smiles make me super happy! hehe! esp those i loved dearly!

last wed, i have early mornin debate, and i'm super stressed over it on tues.. coz i really dunno wad to debate abt, and it is a one Versus one debate, and those who noe me knows how "great" my english is... its smth abt using Sci diplomacy to have peaceful engagement wif the muslim world.. and i really don't know how to debate abt it... so i was complainin to Kang, haha, ventin my stress all over him... then next day i woke up for sch ard 6 plus ba, then 7 plus, kang called me. i tot it was a mornin call, but the call doesn't seem to be frm his home, seems to be callin frm outdoor... so i was like, u outside ah? then he was like, yar, i'm in YISHUN. OMG la! he drove here wif mac breakfast for me lo~ oh manz, thankx, tat's really a confidence boost manz!
Haiz, but the stupid class juz keep shootin me wif qns... i'm the proposition, tat's why... on the disadv side... haiz....
then at nite, got Software Engineerin meetin frm 7 to 11 pm.. YESH. its juz week 2 btw... haiz... then, kang msg me and tell me to msg him when i'm done... i'm already smellin rat haha, but i tot i was tinkin too much... then when i'm done and called him, he say he's @ cathay~ surprise no.2 la! ^_^ so he droved me home... thanks ah dear! super nice of u ah~~~

oh wellz, gettin more used to the "stress" frm sch le... oh, and i juz received email wif my debate grade, got a B. ok, @ least pass... gonna go watch Orphan later... yesh, i noe the movie on screen quite some time le, but i keep thinkin tat its a ghost movie, and i dun like to watch ghost movie tat involves kids, coz its really tooo scary... but realise after i heard it over the HK radio(HK now then start showin) how nice it was. its juz a thriller. So i wanna watch! luckily still got... let tat be my treat ba... ok, back to java and jsp-ing... bleahx

its really back to sch time already... 1week in sch = madness.. i can see how scary these coming 15/16 weeks can be... horror. haiz... next week already gotta do a one to one debate, in wich will be 10% of my grade. and i really dunno how to debate esp the rebuttal part! roar. then for the IS modules, oh wellz, already heard from seniors since last yr how terrible it will be. but i'm still not prepared for the horror.
how i wish OB can be the sch i'm attendin instead. i guess if thats the case, i won't feel any horror. maybe a bit stress, but this stress, i'm willing to accept it. oh wellz, still abit sad tat didn't made it to 终极班, but wellz, tis onli means tat i must work even harder to improve myself! hopefully xue ling lao shi will recover soon and singing lesson can resume...
back to talkin about sch... all i can say is luckily there and friends and kang ard me... if not. aiyo, i tink i will juz drop out manz... everytime tinkin of sch juz makes me emo sia... bleahx.. hope tis feelin will go away soon. and not always come back to hunt me to create tat sadness feelin... bleahx....

went to this yearly enormous book fair in HK... quite a big event.. is @ the HK expo lor... super duper big... got a few levels! and lotsa lotsa cheap/interesting bks hehe~

see the queue and crowd... and when we were leavin, saw tis super duper tall guy...look @ those gals beside him... and those gals are like same height/taller than me lor~ he's like super tall!

Kang came to find me on 1st aug... his frienz and him was in macau for a few days , then came down to HK after tat ^_^

jolin doesn't look like jolin lor~ apparently i tink tat most of the asian artiste/singers de wax figures @ the Wax museum isn't properly made.... Jolin looks like some westerner la!

HAHA~ and to welcome halloween, the wax museum had this short ghost trail for ppz~ is scary de lor!

After tat, went to Pacific Coffee to slack...

Went K box-ing on the 2nd day~

the rm is super big~ we had buffet lunch...

and private toilets for us! haha!

our buffet lunch~ we sang frm ard 10 plus to 1 plus~

@ ard 12 plus, i ran, and really RAN, to Maxim bakery @ the nearby MRT station to collect the angel cake~ hehe~ surprise to Kang to have an early bday celebration wif him! ^_^

I regret not takin down his very very first expression when i returned! coz i was tellin him when i left tat i got a miss call frm my aunt and was goin out of the rm to return the call~ haha!

Ocean Park (3rd Aug 09)

this is the dinosaur place in ocean park haha... some summer special tingy~

and there's cave man inside haha!

We played so many rides, and went to place some tent games... this is one of the prizes haha~ cute dino~

we juz played "half" of ocean park.. typhoon no.1 strikes, and the wind and heavy rain came :( the guys was all wet... Thankx kang for blockin the rain for me! :p we left coz peiqiang and royston is leavin HK tat nite as they need to return back to macau to catch their flight... Kang is stayin 2 more days in HK ^_^

after tat left, brought Kang to tuen mun to eat.... and our dessert is here.... woohoo~ i love it...

the following day, watched U.P wif kang haha~ coz typhoon really striked and we had nowhere to go... sad case manz! the cinema we went to only had the canto version of U.P... so we watched tat... and there's no subtitled @ all... Kang fell asleep for a while in the mid of the movie HAHAHAH~ :p

the last day wif Kang was scary for him.. I Fainted la! dunno why also... felt dizzy, then head super pain, then i can't see stuff liaoz.... luckily he was there... if not, i tink i would be on the streets and sent to hospital... intially the plan was to go shoppin wif him de lor, then screwed his day~ super paiseh la~ last day leh... then some more he must send me home, then go take cab to ferry terminal alone , eat dinner alone, then fly back to SG frm macau alone... haiz.. why i always faint de... roar~

yupz, after he left, then most of the time i juz slacked @ YY 's hse ba... enjoyed my last week in HK lor... ah~ i miss HK la~ i juz love the lifestyle there more! roar~

Sch's really startin soon le... haix... jia you ba... luckily back in SG, i have frienz and Kang to keep me company... if not, i tink i will go crazy!

I miss those days... ah~~

first, wanna say CONGRATES to those who made it to 终极班!!! ^_^ U all jia you ok?! i was thinking about these past few mths, and i really feel that my greatest achievement is going for 非常歌手５... when did we started tis? feb? march? i couldn't really remember... but i remembered how it started.... first, the 1st audition, which i tot i screwed up badly and couldn't make it thru... then after my Academic writing lesson, Mr wewe called me and told me i made it to the 2nd rd.... 2nd rd, i remembered i forget part of the lyrics, but luckily no one in the rm realised coz i juz anyhow replace those lyrics....

and thats how i ended up in VS. I remember the very first class, the briefing where xu huan liang talks, i was late. coz the stupid MRT train juz dun wanna move @ raffles place. was panicking, and luckily they were informed of it, so they started late. I tink i bump into shi ling for the first day, and we walked there together.... entered the class, hmm... who did i sit beside? i forgot le... i noe our ban zhang and fu ban zhang was missing tat day haha! the only class w/o any ban zhang or fu ban zhang:P alicia replaced them, took our attendance....

the very first lesson, under xue ling lao shi... our class was quiet... only mr kelvin was high haha! as usual... tat day, i was utterly excited, and keeep askin XL lao shi qns. our class juz went off for intruments after tat... i remember Sendy teach like bullet train... but i'm super glad tat at last i can learn how to自弹自唱 ^_^

i tink only towards the last few lessons, esp after the consultation with Xue ling lao shi, then i started to try to get to mix ard with other VS de ppz. I remembered it was the Huan jie lao shi Prata outing that i got to noe a few ppz... mainly tat day is Shu Ting ^_ ^ coz she sat beside me... and we left earlier, and took train home ^_^ after tat, i got to noe more and more ppz! i noe most of them i noe thru Maxwell supper outing ba! HAHA! and i'm really really really grateful that i noe them! its great knowing u ppz u noe! all sing so well, dance so well, and the best thing is , we learn from one another! the way we teach each other, encourage each other, complain and relieve stress with each other... oh manz, i love those feelings...同甘共苦 ^_^

and also getting to noe Kang! hehe :p

i learnt alot from this whole course... the money is worth it. not everyone who wants to get in can, and we did. so VS! lets treasure the super strong bondin we have ! we are really one big family! lets juz work hard towards our common dream! lets sing for life and enjoy singing and performing! ^_^ those who didn't get into zhong ji ban, let juz jia you! wo men ke yi de! and of coz, lets keep in touch... i tink we will still meet in OB since a lot of ppz are continuing lessons ^_^

all in all, I love u all! and miss u all lots! ^_^

yupz, ben3 xiao2 jie3 is in HK le~ woo~ is hot here lor... or shall i say... the weather is currently similar to SG, but due to the lack of clouds, its very very sunny~ which i hated. bleahx... luckily, all my relatives here love to on the aircon haha~ and usu i shop @ shopping centres which sells cheap stuff haha! so yupz, not that bad...

first day, touch down, waited for the luggage for super long! anywayz, after tat, my first activity in HK on the first day is .... WATCH HARRY POTTER~.... its either the movie is not my cup of tea, or tat i'm juz too tired coz i didn't sleep the whole nite and onli a bit on the plane, i kept dozing off... esp the first few parts of the movie... i decide to watch the DVD version when its out once again, when i'm fully awake! haha! its funny when my cousin talked abt some part of the movie during dinner and i went HUH? got meh? and con't asking him abt it. HAHA~ juz like as if i had not watched the movie yet! opps~ hehe~ maybe coz i'm not such a HUGE BIG fan of Harry Potter ba~ and maybe i'm really too too too tired tat day~

2nd day, woke up early at ard 830am to go eat dim sum with my grandparents... oh manz, i'm juz not used to waking up early! bleahx... but yupz, i juz love HK dim sum! although tis time rd i'm being a vegetarian in HK, there's still lotsa dim sum to choose frm! woohoo! coz i ate too much/ too full for breakfast, i skipped lunch... wasn't hungry anywayz... when i returned back to my grandparent's hse, i went back to sleep... really too tired and not used to early mornings haha! slept till my usu time, ard 2pm or 230pm, then wash up and stuff, and then went to the nearest shopping centre, Town Centre, to shop... bought a pair of sandals and a tank top~ ^^ yupz, i went alone, coz if grandma tag along, i will worry abt her being tired and stuff, so rather not, so i can shop for long ^_^ hehe~

reached back home at 6pm ba, and slack till dinner at ard 7 plus... after dinner, helped grandma to vacuum the whole hse (the hse is not big la haha) and then opened my new shoe in the shoe box... AND.... Then i realise the shop keeper gave me the wrong pair of shoe! and is a pair of SUPER ugly sandals! imagine electric pink wif gray... WEIRD! so i faster rush back to change lor~ and obviously i'm not like cheating them coz tat pair of sandals i have didn't even appear on the shoe shelves in the first place. so i easily got back the shoe i wanted haha! ^_^

as for today, woke up at 645AM! OMG! SUPER EARLY! coz must accompany grandma to see heart specialist for her heart problems, and the journey to that doc's place is like 1.5hrs! doc was late =.= and the whole tingy ends onli at like near 2pm! OMG lor! and it cost..... ard $10 400 plus... HK bucks... the doc gave a 5.75% discount i tink, and it ends up $9800 plus... OMG OMG~ i'm like shocked by it.... crazy~

after tat, went to eat dim sum for lunch, and followed my aunt ( thomas's mama) to meet my cousin thomas and his ex-mandarin tuition teacher for shopping... walked till leg drop liaoz... haha!

ah~ i'm missinnnnnn uuuuuu~ bleahx.... faster come HK la! HAAHA!

157 skating / cycling day!

today~ a half day wif 157 club(exclude xiany and QY who're sick...recover soon yea? ^_^ ) at east coast park! Forced myself to wake up at 830am, but was still late and end up meeting JN and maple @ ard 950pm at the bus stop outside Maple's hse... took 135 to ECP... rented 3 bikes while JN brought her own skates...It was a super duper HOT day~ haha, can still remember JN keeps sayin how hot it was!

wanted to bring to HK initially, but tot abt it, then i was afraid later tings too much, then i end up leavin it in HK which i will never want it to end up tat way! so left it in SG!

After tat, went Bugis to check out Muji coz my cousin YY wanted me to help her buy 4 stack of fullscap frm muji, as HK went out of stock for a few mths already... apparently Bugis de Muji also went out of stock.... and so, asked the manager to check it out for me whether Marina sq branch have... and YUPZ! there is !

so i proceed on to Tanjong pagar first, to buy chiffon cakes... and they sold out the pandan ones ONCE AGAIN~ bleahx... end up buy other flavours for my relatives! then proceed on to marina sq to get the fullscap... called up YY to confirm with her whether is 4 stack and told her SG also runnin out of stock... then she say get 5 then! HAHA! ROFL! :p

then went to Cathay basement to eat sushi! dunno why i craved for sushi for quite some time le! and i tot tat one at Cathay's basement is Ishi Mura... apparently is not, but their sushi also 99cents, juz tat the variety is not as much as Ishi Mura... Kang ate curry rice haha! and he can't finish it coz too much!

then go home le, reach ard 11 plus ba... Kang ah~ xin ku le! thankx for accompanying me and carryin those heavy stuffs! :p xie xie~

ah~ today really super touched... a lot of flash backs... oh manz.... yupz... today is 非常演唱會+畢業禮.... although i'm not one of the performers, i really enjoyed myself to the fullest today...

Woke up at 830am, bathe, basic make up, blow hair and out i went off to meet Kang at AMK... then after tat bought Mos and Koi drink and proceed to NUS UCC theatre....

Ms Fiona and Ms Geraldine helped me with the eye make up! Thanks lots! muackx! spent hrs in the toilet puttin make ups on! HAHA!

Then i spotted someone frm my class~ he didn't appear for a very very long time! MR Marc! HAHA! i was tellin kang.. eh~ tat person look like Marc leh~ then he was like... eh? then i was like OMG, its really MARC HAHA!

anywayz, today went to meet kang at serangoon~ he seein doc.. sigh~ then hor, when i got up his car , he brought out tis super cute stitch la! SUPER CUTE LOR! we saw it at Tampine's 1 the other time, i was huggin it haha, but too costly so never buy~ then hor, it appear in his car today la! OMG, ah~ xie xie kang!!! left it at his hse coz goin OB after tat... dun wanna bring a huge stitch to OB~ shall take pix of it when i got hold of it! AH~~~~ is cute and huggable de lor! decide to bring it to HK to pei me HAHAHAHA~ xie xie !!!!

after tat, went kang's hse to slack, ah, his rm got private bathroom la! omg la ! i wantttt sia~~~ slack till abt 7pm ba, then went OB coz got 班長 meeting.. and i also need to go and collect tix for sunday.. yea, heard tat JJ is comin! woohoo~ tis time will really try to grab him to take pix AHHA!

watch the whole rehearsal today, wah, everyone really put in a lot of HARDWORK LOR~ is A LOT. and A LOT OF $$~ Lucky spent like 600 bucks on the performance outfit lor! OMG! then most spend 100 plus... oh manz.... after hearin that, on one side i'm quite satisfied that i'm not in this... But oh wellz, if i'm in, i don't mine, since is like "re usable" haha... i still love performing if there's a chance! hehe~

(it was ard 11 plus ba)...then went down to find him and he made new type of sandwich for me! wee~~~ is big de lor... he said the cost price is like 3 bucks plus... woaw... cost price leh! big rite! ah~ really super touched la! after tat went blk 400 plus to drink drink... kang drank bandung, and i had my first sip of bandung... erm, i still dun like it... it still reminds me of the antibiotics i always take when i'm young... yucks. haha... still prefer barley / lime juice haha! after tat went home lor... put in fridge already, tat will be my brunch for tmr haha! ^_^ xie xie!!!

Yesterday(12/7)

woaw~ quite an unlucky day lor~ first, met up wif kang to go support VS ppz singin at Flyer's Love the World Bistro de... we waited for the shuttle for quite long, and boarded it at ard 6pm ba... to our enormous surprise, the shuttle to flyer now NEEDS payment! its not FREE anymore! crazy la! $2 per person, to and fro... we stare at the uncle like he were talkin alien language la! coz really tot that its free ma~ in the end, uncle juz charge us $2 lor... means one person free... but still $2 leh! we could have walked there! and wats more is tat, by the time we reached, everyone left le =.= sianz... so end up, decide to eat smth at Popeye ~ ate mash potato(my favourite!) Intially, wanted Popeye's biscuit, but they say dun have... see, unlucky again...
so we then took train to clarke quay to meet with the VS ppz went there after watchin bistro performance... to celebrate mr Bryan's birthday! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BRYAN!

This day, had JC clique gatherin... ok, the No Name clique.. haha! ate at tis restaurant at basement of Cathay~ coz they were givin out 10% discount flyers... so we juz went in lor... oh wellz, the pasta taste great, my vegetarian fried rice, not bad, but too oily for my likin~

hmmz say intially is 3 cups in a row lor~ erm, but i moved... sry! haha! Then ,WY say abt tis dunno wad arts festival event ba... then we juz walked the 2 museums...

these tankers juz keeps remindin me abt the Power Puff Gals! esp when the "shootin pt" is heart shaped instead of the usual circular shaped! haha!

Saw tis couch, and yanz told everyone to take an individual shot on it haha! was chased off coz 原來 tat couch belongs to a cafe inside the museum, and is not for ppz to take pix =.= haha

yea, i'm back... back on tues le... juz realise i forgot to blog haha~ anywayz, this is the light i loved which was at Novotel~ super nice... its not hot even when switched on for hours.... loved it!and yar. i am ill... coughin and slight fever of 37.6 degree when touch down in SG... dun worry. not H1N1 haha! and i'm considerate enuff to wear mask when i'm on the plane lor! HAHAHA!ok~ blog abt the more recent one first then will jump back to tues.

Wed + thurs = 157 Club sleepover at Pee's hse! Awe~ sort of considered the last sleep over ba~ coz pee's not coming back for such a long time anymore coz she wanna do intern/summer work in canada... =(

b4 goin pee's hse, met up wif kang to have dinner at AMK hub.... ate at 品食! nice hor fun! ^_^ tasty baked rice^_^ then walked ard and ard 10 ba, drove to pee's hse...

and when i walk in, they are already making our 157 cheese cake!!!
pee's mama tell us to make 鬼臉, so here goes! QY... not makin! haha!

baked the cake... for super long while chattin! my story very short meh? short but sweet wad muwhahaha! i not peeeeee la~~~!

went up to pee's rm to con't chatting ,while going down to check on the still baking-in - progress cake at some pt of time.

After that, Kang came ard 11 plus ba, drove to SMU de NTUC clinic to see doc, coz i feel that the doc i saw on tues is quite bad, as in, his medicine is bad... juz feel tat its useless lor... so after seeing the SMU there de doctor, drove to changi to sent off my grandparents, then drove to chinatown to sing $10 KTV wif 157 haha~ xin ku le kang! thankx! and yupz, super enjoy the KTV session wif 157! ah~ long time no singin! then went to OB coz JN wanna register for electric guitar course...quite an 尷尬 moment when i step in... bleahx...~ JN should noe wad happen. haha!

ok, back to tue's touch down in SG...

xie xie kang for coming to pick mama and me up ^_^ after tat went to tampines 1 to shop shop walk walk talk talk eat eat haha!

mme? cheese sauce with tofu and osyter mushroom... ( the sauce is super sinful... left over super lotsa sauce)

conclusion: PLZ GO THERE AND TRY! the price is ok! and it taste MUCH BETTER than xin wang plz... way way way much better~ there's one branch at Tampines 1 and another at vivo~ go try! nice!

Mama went to have a cheap rebondin done at the mall, and me, con't enjoyin, slackin and rottin in the hotel rm... ah~ i juz love the rm! haha! remember to stay in novotel ppz ! haha! ate again at HK cafe, i tink they can recognise us already lor! haha! and i drank starbucks again coz its cheap here.. haha~

and yar, i'm down wif cough! shuts. gonna see doc once i reach SG tmr... dun tink is H1N1 la, no flu symptom ma.. juz coughin lor... maybe coz of the aircon haha...

As for today, i woke up at 11 plus, while mama woke up @ 8am to join the rainforest tour...

Had a blueberry muffin and grande cappucino frm Starbucks for breakfast + lunch~

The cashier issued me a receipt, and i saw tat they charged me blueberry CHEESECAKE price. luckily i checked! claimed back $ frm them after tat...after tat, shopped or rather juz walked ard the mall for an hour plus, then went back to hotel rm... watched Night @ the museum...

juz keep using my laptop in summary.. and slept frm 5pm to 7pm... while mama was rainforest-ING...

She seems to enjoy it alot! ^_^

Mama say the tour got 20 plus ppz... and she made new temporary friends haha

The forest... wah~ i sure dun dare to walk in!

But the scene is nice de lor!

Mama say its quite cold... coz very high...

Its juz not a trip for me! luckily i didn't go... it cost SG$100 per person lor! i go sure waste $ de, coz i will not be enjoyin it!

I shall juz enjoy it by lookin at all the nice scenary pix mam took wif the camera!

Mama only came back at 7 plus... went to eat dinner @ the mall... Decided to go pizza hut, coz i feel like eatin pasta... but.... i'm utterly shocked by the taste of the pasta and the quality of it.

Look. Does this looks like pasta frm pizza hut?! it looks more to me like some first timer cookin pasta!

And it taste YUCKY. SUPER YUCKY

mama and me didn't even finish the pasta, we juz called for the bill... and went back to the HK cafe we went to eat our dinner... the same food but different drinks...

Mama drank 红豆冰！she say the 红豆 is blended with the ice! not too sweet, very nice~

I can't taste, coz this mornin i woke up coughin! maybe coz of the aircon ba... too dry le... hope can recover soon b4 goin sing K with 157~

yea, in M'sia now... hotel's great, and brought my laptop there... so can use internet...

Reached airport at 530 like tat bah... the cab driver drove at super high speed la! i was on my ALERT the whole time... too fast le la! checked in baggage, then enter liaoz... had super early breakfast, ate Subway, garden patty de salad... dun feel like eatin bread so early....

Took from subway's view... it reminds me of how me and yuan chang's fans ran all the way up there to see yuan chang off after he entered the gate... today is got ppz sleepin there wif sleepin bags... mama say that should be those on transit...
Subway~ there's where yuan chang sat! yupz , he ate subway b4 leavin haha~

This is the place where yuan chang was stopped by fans who entered to get autograph~ oh manz, when i sat at subway, i was like really recalling the scene TAT day when yuan chang left!Mama and I kept shoppin till i saw the display screen showing a Last call for our gate~ =.= forgotten the timin liaoz... brisked walk there lor!

On board the plane... When we reached, its ard 11 ba... took shuttle to hotel... on the way there, saw I phone advertisment board... I-phone is everywhere!

The bus only have me and mama... =.=

Reached the hotel in 20 plus mins.. Novotel.. its a 4 star hotel.. quite good :D

since we reached ard 11 plus, the rms are not ready yet, so went to the shopping mall beside the hotel, called Borneo, to shop ard... Its just another SG lor... nothin much except that its really HUGE. got lost quite a few times haha...

end up eating a HK cafe for lunch~ haha~ mama, dunno wad she doin! haa!

At first, i tot is milk + egg white... happen to be the whole egg... looks yucky to me now! mama say last time is coz winter very cold, then i always drink it... but its really yucky taste to me now la! dunno why i love it last time sia~

@ hotel lobby~ there's mac desktop for all to use... their default homepage... Facebook! hahaa!

in hotel rm~ i love the hotel rm.. the rest of the hotel rm pix in my camera and i forget to bring usb cable... so can onli upload the pix when i reach SG... flat screen tv sia!
after tat, guess wad we did... mama, she went gym and went swimming... Me. I slept. super tired. slept the whole afternoon frm 2 plus till 5 plus!

Then for dinner, we went that shoppin centre again and ate New york new york! yupz, there's NY NY there lor~ oh wellz, price wise , a bit cheaper... food wise, very different... 一分钱，一分货! food not very nice lor...

mama's cappucino mushroom soup... =.= they tried to be creative, but it tasted yucky to me... super watery...

Pumpkin soup... bread is nice, soup is like those canned soup lor... ah, soup spoon still the best la!
As always, my cappucino... a bit better than coffee bean, tat's all i could say. and those who noe me noes how much i "like" coffee bean's coffee =.=

Mama's spagetti... yar, she haven't started eatin it at all~ its super little de lor! compared to SG de NY NY portion, tis is tiny haha! and mama say its not nice and too spicy...

AIYA! tis is juz a fake NY NY to me although it is really authentic one... coz the menu same same de... design and logo all same de... but hor, seee wad tissue paper they gave us.. is.... frm xin wang?! haha! dots! ROFL!

Their mushroom bread~ ok, this is the best out of all we ordered.
After tat, we walked ard, and spotted daiso! mama and the granny cap in daiso! haha! cute!
Con't to shop shop, walk walk, talk talk lor... bought my all time favourite food popiah for supper, coz i noe i'm gonna stay up late...
ate it juz now, erm, not nice oso... the skin, super thick. like really super thick la! but finished it la... aiya, today most stuff not very nice leh~ then tmr, mama goin to climb mountain , see scenary frm 8am to dunno when.. SG$100 leh! i never go ah, partly coz i tink its too ex, and also i scare got 6 legged tings fly / crawl ard... but the main reason is coz my injured right hand la~ dun wanna worsen it... so never go lor... shall sleep till super late and rot there tmr... bleahx...

went sentosa today wif Kang, Alan and jason... meetin time was 2pm, but Alan and jason late ma, so kang and me window shopped ard first... then Alan arrived, and went Food court (lv 3) to eat...

happen to see tis... haha! CUTE! I think that mask can cover my whole face lor!Then went to queue up for tix to take the sky train... apparently, after queuin for some time, we realise there is a ticketin machine not far frm there... so juz went there to get out tix instead of waiting in tat super long queue!

Reach there ard 4 plus ba... met up with Jason who was a train after ours...Went Palawan beach, coz siloso beach having Asia Youth Games...

initially juz plan to meet up wif sofa poh coz she's SO EXCITED. then i tink yanz msged her and say wanna go bugis. while waitin for yanz, went Muji wif sofa and i FINALLY found my strawberry mashmellow on shelf~ it had been missin frm Muji's shelve since end may or early june...anywayz, ate SOUP SPOON for dinner at bugis!

Finally someone i knew tryin the bread crust..and its sofa! haha! tried a bit, too oily for my likin:P

same goes for me... i used the soup spoon card, so got a GRANDE sized one, and also a free drink of my choice. haha. chose green tea:p Ah! soup spoon rox! their pumpkin soup already rox a lot, but i love their mushroom soup even more! today's the first time i tried a whole bowl of it lor! and there's SUPER LOTSA MUSHROOMS! OMG~ awe~~~ I'M LOVING IT! MUHAHHAHHAA...Updated sofa and yanz, so now onli left heemz and WY , and 157 to update them abt haha.

After tat , we went shopping at bugis street... i'm like HOLDIN BACK myself and NOT BUYIN any stuff la! coz i'm goin HK soon! should go HK then buy. Firstly, can save up for HK trip, secondly, my home's closet gonna burst soon~ haha! Meet up with Kang at ard 830 and con't shoppin with Kang, Yanz and sofa haha~

then i tink ard 9 plus decided to leave ba.. kang drove, so sent yanz and sofa to AMK mrt ~ ^_^

after tat, like quite early ma, then decided to head to Xing Wang HK cafe @ yishun for supper...

Finally gotta eat the BEANCURD I eyed for some time...

After getting medicine for my hand at SMU, and buyin the wallet i eyed for almost 1 mth...

The 3D SPECS! ah~ it is super HARD. and keeps slippin down the nose lor =.= Should have a better design for it? but juz be glad tat it isn't the paper ones wich are worst.

The movie quite funny la! laugh till i forget that my hand is injured and clapped on it. =.= had a silent scream after tat :p

After movie, dunno where to eat for dinner, so was sayin head to orchard and see lor... walked frm cathay to somerset and realise that ORCHARD CENTRAL is opened! i tink got 14 storeys lor! most shops aren't opened yet, but a lot of eateries... not bad lor!

Oh wellz, pacific coffee is still the best, followed by star bucks...tis one i rate it as average... but at least still better than coffee bean haha! after tat went home lor...

met kang at 2 plus at serangoon mrt and took bus to east coast park for skatin~

ate coffee bean for brunch...

and when we con't skatin~ reached tis place! tis is like where my last day de SMU orientation camp went!

and while skatin back.... a stupid fruit blocked my way, and i...FELLLLLLLL~ I didn't remember how i fell lo~ kang said i rolled haha! the hand quite badly hurt:(

then after tat, i tot its ok de , then just stood up and kang pushed me at the back to move forward... tat's when i started havin blurred vision...and i remember wad tis meant frm my previous experience n hk... i'm faintin soon...so i faster stopped and told kang then just sat on the floor lo~ really blacked out for a few secs~ but still concious. just tat couldn't see~ the pain is quite strong, but just keep tryin to not focus on it to reduce the pain lo~ then got pushed all the way back to the roller blade station lo~ ah~ xin ku le!

went parkway parade to get the followin stuff to dress my wound...

after tat, ate mos and went home~ tat's not the end of the story yet! i hate changin the dressin! the pain is unbearable lo! i was sayin vulgarities when changin it la! opps!

finally have the mood to blog haha! but the sunday one must blog la~ haha!

Sunday was 星光PK finals AH!

Its held at Kallang leisure park, the one near the SG indoor stadium... actually there's quite a lot of stuff there to do~ got cinema, bowling centre and ice skating leh! ok, dun side track.
anywayz, reached there ard 1 plus ba~ then already got quite a few grps of supporters there. ours was of coz biggest(frm wad i see)... oh, juz in case some of u dunno, we are supporting 。。。

Miao Ru! one of our 非常歌手 friend ^_^ One great singer and song writer! ^_^

The boards and stuff we made! ^_^We surrounded the 2 sides at lv 2 and the left side in front of the stage...

Planned to have the board at the elevator when Miao Ru's singing, but it happen to occur after her singing! but its great! EVERYONE , or almost everyone noticed it! haha!

Left for family dinner even b4 the 7 ppz further compete. Kang drove me to bishan, walked ard a bit, then at 7pm, met up with family to eat at ding tai feng! ah~ i love the 蛋炒飯 there!

went for AJ alumni choir concert today! its been almost a yr or maybe even longer since i've listen to a choir concert. Ah~ the concert is nice and ENTERTAINING! haha! The "postcards" they gave us... The concert started at ard 745pm... was delayed for abt 15mins coz many ppz didn't manage to find their way here... haha! Btw, its at YMS arts centre... Chee Guan was super funny la! he pop his head, and only his head out of the upper curtain to announce that there will be a delay and will start at 745pm instead of 730pm. was laughin like mad!

ah~ overall the performance is really good lor! the standard is way up there! woohoo!! ^_^ Most memorable part to me is that they sung that korean song Nobody! "i got nobody nobody but u!" haha! some more got dance de lor! HAHHAHAHAH~ and all the soloist rox la! woohoo! AJ alumni choir ROX!!!! :D

The concert ended ard 915pm, and their encore song is NOBODY! haha~ so funny! JK was dancing also la! ROFL! after tat, had so many photo taking with them! but i forget to bring my camera, so took with others de camera... shall get the pix frm them soooon~ and i saw SookChin(my cedar buddy!) and JN's brother! oMG! first time seeing JN's brother lor! HAHHAHAHA!

Met up with Kang when he reached YMS. then we went to have my dinner and supper haha~ went Geylang there lor! he was saying there's this shop selling very nice 蛋餅。Took MRT to paya lebar MRT station, and walk all the way there.. we initially asked the person whether got 蛋餅lo, then she point to the one written 蘿蔔絲蛋餅，but with english interpretation as carrot cake. so we didn't order. end up ordering 雞蛋燒餅, 油條~ i didn't eat the 油條 lo, super oily! haha! juz had one bite... the 雞蛋燒餅 not bad. quite nice... haiz.. but oily lor haha~

豆漿！initially, i think that its super sweet, but as we eat, it seems nice haha! 好喝！

after tat, i was wondering whether the "carrot cake" they wrote there is a different type of carrot cake. and out of curiousity and since we still not full yet, ordered it to try... and LUCKILY WE DID!

they gave us 2 small plates lor! and is really super small plate!

Really Super duper full after tat... price quite ok lor, eat so much, only 8 plus i tink... ok la~ and they are famous for it de lor, somemore 24 hrs de! ^_^ but really very not accessible... and if drive there, parking space very hard to find. tat's why didn't drove. :p

Walked super far again after tat to take bus 80~ok, not as far as when we walk to 永和豆漿... and also good to digest the food we ate first! haha! Was really praying that there's still bus lor! coz its like almost midnite when we reach the bus stop! haha!

yupz~ reached kang's home then took his car home.. ah~ super tired! and STICKY~ wah~ geylang there no wind de lor! super hot la! and very humid, so very sticky.. immediate bathe after i reached home haha!

After tat, went to eat the ice cream bowl! FINALLY! had been saying must try must try for months le.. and finally tried... u noe tat shop where got queue one... very grand de....near the new starbucks.... u noe u noe haha~

actually, the taste, ok lor... we ate the one wif yogurt + banana + mango + coconut flakes... the waffle bowl quite thin.. hmm... i think is the experience ba... but very ex lor... i wanna try the New York New york waffle icecream next time haha!

yupz, as for today, went to pick up my grandparents at the airport! i only got to know that they are coming together with my cousin who's returnin to SG lor! i was like HUR?! so didn't manage to go for Miao Ru's event at orchard... arghx.. but heard that it went well, so at least i don't feel so bad... but yupz, grandma and pa came! went to eat wif them ^_^ ah~ miss them so much lor! hehe, finally get to see them le! shall bring them go and eat next week! woohoo! ^_^

Ah~ today woke up at 1 plus haha... i just love the feeling of 自然醒！！！今天，下雨了~~ super heavy rain....and it reminds me of the song下雨天... ah~ that song is super nice.. i still love it. ^_^ hehe~ yesterday ate this vegetable cracker kang gave me... it taste a lot better than the china brand one! but still, its 炸 one... so cannot eat too much. but is nice de lor!

The mini hamburgers kang made are the best. haha! super tasty sia! its for dinner but eat 2 already super full lor! ah~ tasty sia! haha!

went bradell at ard 12 plus to meet VS ppz... most are from VS1. they juz finish dancing haha! after tat, went bugis with ST and Kang. Met Alan there at ard 4. look at the CROWD. coz 败犬女王 the 2 main leads, the female i forget her name le.. and 阮经天 came...haha, i juz love my camera. can zoom super well... actually he juz looks ok lor... very MAN. cute smile!

UNCLE ALAN~~~~~ haha! He's like super enthu la! coz he got watch tat show...

After tat, we went illuma to check out the price for Drag Me to hell.. finally watchin tat movie... illuma tat cinema de price is $9.50 lor... some more heard frm JN tat the seats there not nice... so we plan to go cineleisure de cathay....

and at Illuma, got this person in TRANSFOMER SUIT! HAHA! so funny!

ST went home for a while for father's day dinner, her mama cooking lor.. so sweet~ so Kang plan to drove me and alan to cineleisure, but took the wrong turn, end up in.... AMK HUB! HAHA! in the end, bought cathay tix at 10 bucks.. haiz.. y weekend tix so ex de.... then kang went home first for father's day dinner... so onli alan, ST and me watchin DMTH... overall, the movie is OK lor... not as nice as wad so many ppz say la...got 黑色幽默。。。 quite short lor.. but the sound effect we were saying can win awards le.... is SUPER SCARY AND LOUD!

oh! i saw this super cute stitch 扭蛋 outside the cinema lor! super cute can! but 2 bucks! ok, i will go back for it after i get hold of my salary! haha!

Piano lesson !

started learning pop piano from 海蝶 .... today's first lesson! Ivan lao shi is best haha... was given the song 我可以 to practice. ah~ i love piano! after tat, went with Kang on a hunt for electronic grand piano. went penisular shopping centre first, and only found guitars.... then went funan as directed by one of the auntie from a guitar shop... but there's only first hand piano there. then went to Excelsior shopping centre, found a first hand piano shop, but they got online forum to let ppz selling piano to post. so can go to the forum to find. but currently, they are also selling those electronic piano on display. there's one，Casio, selling at 700 plus.. first hand, with 1 yr warrenty... tempting! but i think i'm gonna get mine during dec or next yr ba... no $ le~ bleahx... juz use the classical one at home and if need to transpose, juz go OB to practice lor....

Anywayz, today's update.

Met Kang today at 1pm~
haha! went to Far East to have my purple coloured strain of hair clipped onto my hair at 2 bucks!

See the purple strain?! ^_^ (took in front of my hse lift b4 reaching home...)After that went for K- Tapaz...some student package chargin at 14.50 nett price... includes one drink, 1 snack and 1 tibit/fruit. ah~ felt a bit cheated ... coz the website indicated that it was from 2 pm to 7pm.. but we got told that its until 5pm.. =.= unless there's enough rooms and will let us extend. haiz... dun trust K box anymore.. shall go other places like topone.. ordered hot honey lemon, tako balls, fruits and chips.

After that, went to walk ard hereen b4 going for dinner at Cineleisure de Shokudo.. hmm.. their student meal quite ok ^_^

Kang ordered some avocado + salmon spagetti.... and the avocado and salmon is SUPER LITTLE LA! they are sooooo bad lorrrrr~

Mine is omelette spagetti! NICE! I love it. we were guessing how many eggs did they actually use. haha! but its nice!!!! (but sinful:p )

then went to walk ard taka and stuff... actually more of blindly walking ard till we reach Orchard MRT la... wanted to find Heemz ah~ msged her and she initially never reply. so i keep hunting ard for her in her working area... then saw her msg saying she's on leave today.. AWE~ :( can't see heemz lao gong le haha~ then went home le.... ah~ so long never been to K box le. but aiya, next time really dun wanna go there le. haha! go Top One / 10 dollar KTV / teo heng. they are much more affordable and worth it. ^_^

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO MS JIE NING! Welcome to the 20s club haha! can't believed we had already lived for 20 years! oh my....
and next... of coz... 生日快乐 to 元畅!!! His like ... 27 this year? oh my tian. haha... but he's still as 帅 as always!

ok then, updates of the day.. today mami and dadi day off! but they went out till night then came home... Stayed at home today to rest... not feeling very well yesterday, today better, but still a bit sicky feeling... watched Benjamin Buttons! Finally got to watch it. Long movie, but nice and touching. Teared at the very very end.. when they did the concluding lines... oh manz... i love how the movie was filmed and the narrator's voice.... is so nice. After that, continued watching the Making Of Benjamin Buttons. and was shocked at how long a "history" it has, and how hard it was to make this movie. CLAP CLAP!

Anywayz, went out to celebrate early Father's day coz dadi do not have weekend off days :(
Went northpoint first while waiting for gor gor's girlfriend to reach Yishun from work. and we went Arcade to play BBALL!!!!

Dadi and Gor gor!!! haha.. Dad won lor! I later paired up with gor gor to versus him, but dadi still win. ahhhhhhh~ (He played cheat la! he said when he had off days, he went alone to "train"!!!! ah~~)

Then when gor gor's GF came (sze mun), we went to Safra Yishun to tried out this restaurant called 品食～ They had a blue-ish layout, and i kinda like it... esp those round rms with karoake facilities(but gotta book those)...

NICE!After that, went to buy Laptop for mami... actually is for dadi de... coz he just starting to take up computer courses... but dad said he will take mom's laptop and let mom have the new one.. so sweet ^_^ Something happened when we buy the lap top.... Mom's UOB visa card was declined!!!! and mom tried to call up the bank, and the bank say we had borrowed $6000 ! WTH. crazy. In the end, realise that it's dad who fell for a stupid bank trick... they sent us a cheque for $6000 to bank in. with super small sized terms and conditions. (an interest will be charged =.= so is like we are loaning) As dad don't really know english, he just went to bank it in =.= So the bank automatically thought that we are really borrowing money! WTH manz! how can like tat de?! i though borrowing $$ must have ppz signing stuff and doing lotsas stuff b4 a bank loan is approved?! dadi gonna settle it tmr by going to the bank directly.. this got mom very very angry with both the bank and dad(coz dad never ask her b4 bankin in the cheque)

luckily now mom 气消 already... ah~~~ a super happy family outing spoilt by stupid UOB bank gimmick... haiz...

ah~ juz reach home, took a shower, add my cabbage and finished watching Shopcholic. haha! fun day today!
met up with half of 157 club... JN, Maple and xiany to walk far east plaza... apparently maple haven't been there b4! OH MY. haha. we walked frm 1 plus PM till ard 5pm la! SO LONG! is like one lv one hr? haha! only maple and JN manage to buy SMTH. haha.. xiany and me were budgeting~ i'm running out of cash!! boohoo~ need to wait till july.... i wanna buy so many stuff!!! when we went pass the famous chicken rice shop, the waiter there or rather boss there keep askin us to eat la haha.. dots. we are not finding FOOD. =.=

Met Kang at ard 5 plus... he wanna have hair extension! haha! ok la, not those extend longer one... is those coloured strains... apparently the person dunno how to make lor! she's like don't understand our language like tat... when she cut off the long part rite, she never really do trimming lor.. juz snip it off... it looks weird! were telling her to layer it abit, then she was like, cannot. this kinda hair cannot... =.= haiz... and got tricked... there writes $1 for 1 strain, in the end it is $2 for 1 coloured strain. so kang paid $4 for it... aiyo! I was thinking of making a purplish strain de... but i after pondering, i decided not to do anything to my just rebonded hair first haha.... after tat, we went to eat SLICE!!! this time chose to eat the Milk slice one wif mango~ woohoo~ is nice de lor!

Ah~ wo ai this photo.... 有瘦到~ muwahhaahahahaha!After tat, walked to orchard MRT. Kang say go sing K at topone! so random! haha! Mr Random xian sheng! haha! so i was like saying ok, we go bugis check out the price first. if too ex, then juz walk ard lor.... So ended up eating soup spoon in bugis (wo mei chi... on my diet haha!) And went to find ms WENDY xiao jie! ^_^ She's working as sales in this korean shop... and she's wearing her exam outfit which looks like what the shop is selling! haha! after tat, checked out topone's price... 20 bucks per person. CRAZY. haha... so went bugis junction de muji and also went to illuma to walk walk... and Kang spotted his friend's architect art piece... were saying initially that Kang's piece won't be featured coz his friend's one is super good... but end up....Kang's piece is featured too! haha! The theme was making a bookshelve which can fit in 2 books, and don't let any rain or water or watsoever destroy those books...Kang and his master piece haha! He went to touch it when it says:"no touching" then he was like... but its his art piece? muwhahhaha!
start goin home ard 9 plus ba... when we reach yishun, Kang was hungry again! haha! dunno Why he can keep eating and not get FAT LA! AHHHHHH~ so GOOOOD.... went to Mac, and he ordered cheeseburger... but the auntie charge him Fish burger price, and end up giving his fish burger... erm... Cheeseburger and Fish O' Fillet sound the same meh ? =.=

then really went home le... tired! and my throat is hurting.. popped a panadol coz feeling a fever coming up.. hope not lor.. bleahx.. gonna sleep le... hope tmr dun sick... gonna have early father's day celebration!
